Blaklion as short as 9/1 to improve on 2017 showing and win Grand National on Saturday
It looks set to be a very wet Grand National on Saturday, with lots of rain forecast between now and the off.
Four horses have split away from the back when it comes to the outright betting, with Blaklion the subject of several bets in recent days and the Nigel Twiston-Davies horse is now trading at 11/1 with bet365.
Blaklion looked to be in prime position to win the 2017 renewal when hitting the front with half a mile to go, although he failed to sustain the challenge and the trainer will look for the horse to be ridden differently this time around.
Tiger Roll is as short as 8/1 in places to win the National after a superb performance in the Cross Country Chase at the Cheltenham Festival.
The horse wasn’t expected to find the soft ground to his liking in March, although a splendid display of jumping saw him win the race and bet365 now have 12/1 about the Gordon Elliott-trained charge claiming a Grand National win.
Total Recall is the 10/1 favourite with bet365, while Anibale Fly is an 11/1 poke to win the race and these four horses are now battling it out at the top of the market, with the next best being Minella Rocco and The Last Samuri who are trading at 16/1.
